Aeroelastic method to investigate nonlinear elastic wing structures

چکیده

Abstract Stiffness directions of wing structures are already part the optimisation in aircraft design. Aircraft like A350 XWB and Boeing 787 mainly consist such composite material, whose stiffness can be optimised. To proceed with this optimisation, aim work is to modify optimise also linear stress-strain relation. On that account, Hooke’s law exchanged by a multi-linear formulation analyse any nonlinear elastic structural technology on structures. The structures, which used investigate behaviour, deduced from mid-range long-range configuration. These wings analysed an extended beam method coupled VLM solution calculate aeroelastical loading. proposed capable analysing structure technology. A degressive behaviour shows up good potential reduce bending moment one main drivers weight.

Nonlinear Aeroelastic Analysis of Joined-wing Aircraft

Joined-wing aircraft are being designed for ‘sensorcraft’ configuration. Joined wings lead to multiple load paths and constraints. The focus of this work is to understand the nonlinear structural as well as aeroelastic behavior of joined wings. The paper presents a formulation for the nonlinear aeroelastic analysis of joined wings. Results are presented for two joined wings configurations. Over...

Aeroelastic Concepts for Flexible Wing Structures

This thesis summarizes investigations performed within design, analysis and experimental evaluation of flexible aircraft structures. Not only the problems, but rather the opportunities related to aeroelasticity are discussed. In the first part of the thesis, different concepts for using active aeroelastic configurations to increase aircraft performance are considered. In particular, one study d...

Identification of a Nonlinear Aeroelastic Aircraft Wing Model

The “reverse path” spectral method, a frequency domain based nonlinear system identification technique, is considered for identifying nonlinear aeroelastic models. The method is based upon a multi-input/multi-output spectral conditioning process that mutually uncorrelates the linear and nonlinear components of the system response. Conditioned frequency response estimates derived from this proce...

Static Aeroelastic Analysis for Generic Configuration Wing

STATIC aeroelastic analysis capability that calculates A flexible air loads for generic configuration wings was developed. It was made possible by integrating a finite element structural analysis code (MSWNASTRAN) and a panel code of aerodynamic analysis based on linear potential flow theory. The framework already built in MSC/NASTRAN was used, and the aerodynamic influence coefficient matrix w...

High-fidelity Viscous Analysis of Mav Wing Nonlinear Aeroelastic Interaction with Non-uniform Unsteady Flow

The work develops a high-accuracy viscous analysis of nonlinear aeroelastic interaction of a Micro Air Vehicle’s (MAV) wing section with a non-uniform, unsteady upstream flow. In the implemented iterative procedure, a set of governing Navier-Stokes equations is solved simultaneously with nonlinear equations of motion of the structure, so that the fluid and structure are treated as a coupled dyn...
